What we collect, and what we do with it.

Draft — not yet reviewed by a lawyer. This page is a working outline. Sections marked “to be decided” are open, and nothing here is final until it has been reviewed.

Who we are

Rehaul rebuilds websites for small businesses. In this policy, “we” means Legal name (the LLC being formed), doing business as Rehaul, and “you” means you. You can reach us at hello@rehaul.ai.

What we collect from the mockup form, and why

When you ask for a free mockup on our homepage, we collect:

  • Your name and your business name, so we know who the mockup is for.
  • Your current web address, so we can build the new site from what’s already there.
  • Your email address, so we can send you the mockup and reply to you.
  • Your phone number, only if you give it, in case email doesn’t reach you.
  • The plan you’re leaning toward, only if you pick one.

To block spam, the form also has a hidden field that people leave empty, and we keep a scrambled (hashed) version of the internet address the form was sent from. We use this information only to make and send your mockup and to talk with you about it.

Your mockup

We build your mockup from your own public website: your logo, photos and words. Your mockup is kept private:

  • The link is hard to guess, has no business name in it, and is hidden from search engines.
  • The link expires.
  • If you ask us to, or tell us you’re not interested, we delete the mockup and stop contacting you.

Businesses we contact first

Sometimes we find a business with a public website and email them a free mockup before they’ve asked. Every email we send like this says how to opt out. If you opt out, we delete your mockup, add you to our do-not-contact list, and send you nothing more except one reply confirming it.

If you become a customer

When you sign up, we also keep:

  • The contact details for your business, including the email address on file that we accept change requests from.
  • The emails you send us and our replies, including change requests and the “YES” confirmations we ask for.
  • A record that you agreed to our terms and to your plan’s automatic renewal: which version, when, and what the checkout page showed.
  • The logo, photos and words on your site, and the site’s files.

We use this to build, host and update your site, to bill you, and to send the reminders our terms promise. We use AI tools to build and edit sites, so your site’s content and your change requests are processed by those tools.

Payments

If you sign up, payment is handled by Stripe. We don’t see or store your full card number.

Who we share it with

We don’t sell your information. We share it only with the services we use to run Rehaul, such as website hosting, email, payments, and the AI tools we use to build and edit sites.

The full list of these services: To be decided

Cookies and tracking

Our homepage doesn’t use advertising or tracking cookies, and it has no analytics right now. It loads its fonts from Google Fonts, which means Google can see your internet address when the page loads.

If we add analytics later, we’ll update this section first.

How long we keep it

Mockups are deleted when their link expires, or sooner if you ask. If you cancel a plan, we delete your site and our copies of your materials after the grace period in our terms. We keep the record that you agreed to your plan’s automatic renewal for at least three years, or one year after your plan ends, whichever is longer, because the law requires it. Billing records are kept as long as tax law requires.

Everything else: To be decided

Your choices

You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the information we have about you. Write to hello@rehaul.ai.
